The Jobnur Cancellation Policy

At Jobnur, we strive to provide a reliable and efficient platform connecting clients with skilled Taskers. To ensure the fair treatment of Taskers and maintain a high level of service quality, we have the following cancellation policy:

Clients may cancel a task at any time. However, clients will be subject to a cancellation fee if either of the following are applicable:

  • The task was canceled by the client within 15 min of the scheduled task time.
  • The tasker is unavailable or unresponsive at the time of the task, so the task cannot be completed.

Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee if:

  • The cancellation was from Tasker.
  • The Tasker did not show up for the task.

The cancellation fee will be charged to the client’s payment method associated with the task and will be calculated as follows:

  • If the job is cancelled within 15 mins of scheduling – No charges
  • If the job is cancelled after 15 mins and before tasker arrives – $50
  • If the job is cancelled after the tasker has arrived – $75

By agreeing to use our platform and booking a Tasker, clients acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this cancellation policy. It is the responsibility of the client to respond to their Tasker or Jobnur Support and ensure their availability for the scheduled task.

For client cancellations meeting the criteria above, Taskers affected by these cancellations will      receive the equivalent of 1 hour of compensation at their hourly rate, unless they have violated the Jobnur Terms of Service in the past 90 days. Jobnur reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a Terms of Service violation disqualifies a Tasker from receiving cancellation      compensation.

If a client refuses to pay the cancellation fee, their account may be suspended or deactivated, and they may be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by Jobnur or the Tasker due to the cancellation.

The Jobnur Pricing Transparency Policy

As part of this policy:

  • Taskers may not separately expense Clients for recurring costs including, but not limited to: travel, gas, vehicle use, and vehicle maintenance. Other additional costs like stairs, parking, and tolls may not be expensed. These costs should be accounted for in the Tasker’s bid.

This policy is intended to clarify expectations set forth in Jobnur’s Global Terms of Service. Please note that Terms of Service violations can result in account limitations, including account suspension and/or deactivation.

Jobnur reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. Users will be notified of any material changes to this policy before such changes take effect, and continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Right to Request or Delete Data – CCPA

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), enacted in 2018, provides rights to California residents to know, delete, and opt out, and requires businesses collecting or disclosing personal information to provide notice of rights California residents have and can exercise.

This article addresses questions you might have about CCPA and Jobnur, particularly with respect to CA residents’ right to request and delete data and the sale of personal information.

Requesting Data:

CCPA grants California residents the right to know certain information about our data practices in the preceding 12 months. In particular, you, or your verified authorized representative, have the right to request from us the categories of personal information collected or disclosed by us, the purpose for which such personal information is being collected or disclosed, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

Upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request from either you or your authorized agent, Jobnur will provide California Users with an electronic copy of their requested personal information free of charge. Jobnur will respond to such requests within 45 days of receipt and will notify you in writing if an additional 45-day extension is needed. Verification may include, but is not limited to: (i) matching at least two data points provided by you with data points maintained by us; (ii) requiring you to log into your password-protected account with us; or (iii) providing a signed declaration under penalty of perjury confirming your identity and authority to make the      request.

Deleting Data:

Under CCPA guidelines, California residents also have the right to delete the data we have about them. This means they can request that a company erase all personal information associated with them. Companies have forty-five (45) days to respond to a request.

It’s important to note that this right is not absolute and doesn’t apply in all circumstances. For example, information that Jobnur is required by law to retain, or that it needs for the establishment or defense of legal claims, is not subject to deletion.

If you are a California resident wishing to request or delete your personal information, contact Customer Support via this form or email privacy@jobnur.com.

Please note: Requesting the deletion of your data will also deactivate your account.

Payment Best Practices

We aim to promote integrity and professionalism on the Jobnur platform. Therefore, invoicing should align with Jobnur’s expectations and requirements. In particular:

  • Taskers and Clients must complete all payments exclusively via the Jobnur platform. Any attempt to process payments through alternative methods, including but not limited to cash, personal checks, or off-platform payment apps, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms of Service. Such breach may result in immediate suspension or termination of platform access and forfeiture of any associated protections or guarantees provided by Jobnur .
  • Invitations to engage in off-platform payment activity or other forms of platform circumvention must be declined.
  • Clients and Taskers should report any requests to engage in off-platform payment to Jobnur Customer Support.
  • Canceling or blocking payment for a task started or completed violates the Terms of Service.

Making or accepting off-platform payments violates Jobnur’s Global Terms of Service and can result in account limitations, including account suspension and/or deactivation.

Best Practices for Task Arrival

We aim to promote integrity, professionalism, and quality on the Jobnur platform. Therefore, showing up to a task and arriving on time is crucial.

Remember to keep these communication best practices in mind:

  • Utilize the task’s chat thread. If there’s a dispute between a Tasker and a Client, the chat thread helps our Customer Support Team assess the situation.
  • Add updates and task details in the chat thread.
    • Taskers, let your Client know when you expect to arrive and if there are any delays.
    • Clients, share any relevant information with your Tasker in the chat thread. If the Client or Tasker did not show up to the scheduled task, be sure to add that in the chat thread.
  • Note when you’ve arrived in the chat thread and consider including a photo of the property or parking area.
  • If a situation arises that conflicts with your task, give at least 24 hours’ notice.
    • Taskers, this gives your Client time to either discuss rescheduling or book another Tasker.
    • Clients, this gives your Tasker the ability to not lose out on other opportunities.

Please note that all users agree to fulfill their commitments to other users in our Terms of Service.

Brand Usage Guidelines

Best Practices for Task Arrival

We aim to promote integrity, professionalism, and quality on the Jobnur platform.
Therefore, showing up to a task and arriving on time is crucial.

  • Note when you’ve arrived in the chat thread and consider including a photo of the property or the parking.
  • If a situation arises that conflicts with your task, give at least 24 hours’ notice.
